His Eminence, The Most Reverend Kenneth M. Hinton, Sr., Ph.D, Th.D
 

The Gift to the Body of Christ that is Apostle Kenneth Michael Hinton, Sr. Ph.D,Th.D “The Demon Chaser”. Apostle Hinton is the Trailblazing, Sought After, Radical Orator known for his Charismatic Style, Expository Preaching and Teaching Ability, Wisdom and his Apostolic (Five-Fold) Ministry, Deliverance, Spiritual Warfare and teachings on Demonology Ministry. He has preached in over 40 states and is known world-wide as "The Demon Chaser".

Born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 29, 1956 the 6th of 10 children. As a child God had his hands upon young Kenneth’s life. Kenneth began to hear the voice of God telling him to “feed his sheep”, unsure of what he was hearing, he told his mother what he had heard and asked her “what did feed my sheep mean?” His mother knew that that meant he was called to preach. Apostle Hinton preached his first sermon in 1964 at the age of 8 at New Revelations Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. His Step-Father the pastor built him a bench to stand on and deliver the Word of God.

He would see and experience many things with his pastor that turned him away from the ministry. He would preach for three years until the age 11 when he turned to the streets. While in the street he was into a little bit of everything, he thought he had a plan to be the man. He was all in on the world, until one day while playing basketball God’s plan was revealed in his life.

​

In 1975 God worked a miracle in the life of Apostle Kenneth Hinton, he was at the YMCA one day and the game began to get physical and he and a guy got into an argument. The guy left and Apostle Hinton thought the altercation was over with, until he walked out the doors of the YMCA and the guy he got into it with was standing there with a gun, his first instinct was to run. While running Apostle Hinton was shot in the back of the head. He had an encounter with God, and what should’ve kidlled him couldn’t kill him because he had work to do.

In1975 at the age 19 Kenneth repented and gave his life to Christ feeling God's call on his life began to preach again. He was Licensed as a Minister a year later in 1976 and ordained five years later in 1981. He would serve as the Minister, Assistant Pastor and Co-Pastor for many years at New Revelations until July of 1988 when he was Installed as the Senior Pastor of New Revelations Missionary Baptist Church of Kansas City, Missouri.

In 1990 the churched voted to change the name to New Life Missionary Baptist Church of Jesus Christ. From 1990-1994 he served in the National Baptist Convention, USA as the Leader of the Pastor’s Division of Sunshine District (Kansas City, Missouri). He also served as the President of the Kansas City Baptist Ministers Union "Ministerial Alliance. 

 

New Life was well known locally and across the nation for having the best choirs in the nation.

In 1993 Apostle Hinton heard the Clarion Call of Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr. for Baptist that no longer wanted to be stuck in the tradition of the Baptist Church and Believed in the Spiritual Gifts and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit to unite with a new fellowship that was just started that gave Baptist the “Right to Choose” the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. He would unite the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International and would become a Son to Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr.

In 1995 while at a Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship Conference, the Second Presiding Bishop Eddie L. Long and several Bishops in the fellowship laid hands and affirmed Pastor Hinton as an Apostle in the Lord’s Church. 1997 he was appointed by Presiding Bishop Founder, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr. as the Overseer of the Western District of Missouri, under the direction of Overseer Hinton the District grew to over 20 churches.

​

While Pastoring at New Life it became one of the fastest growing Churched in the Greater Kansas City area by this time the average attendance was 350 weekly. Many Miracles, Many Signs and Many Wonders took place, demonic spirits were cast out, people sick with disease and infirmities being healed, different types of cancers dried up, literal blinded eyes opened, AIDS and HIV cured, withered hands and legs straighten.

The church would change its name to New Life International House of Worship, and it would become a glorious house. Overseer Hinton would Ordain and send many Pastors, Elders, Prophets and Apostles out into ministry, many who are still Pastoring to this day. Overseer Hinton would serve as a District Overseer in FGBCF for 13 years until 2010, He would win “Overseer of the Year” twice.

In 2005 he Founded New Life Temple in St, Louis Missouri, he Pastor 1 church in 2 cities for over 8 years. He would drive from Kansas City to St. Louis every Sunday for Service. He has also planted or helped plant many ministries throughout the country.

​

In 2010 while being a guest at a conference held in St. Louis, Missouri, Overseer Hinton was consecrated on the spot as a Bishop, something totally unheard of in that day. He would later in October of 2011 be Re-Affirmed as a Bishop in the Global Harvest Covenant Network by Bishop Quacy L. Smith and Bishop David A. Brock (of the Right Connection Covenant Fellowship International), as the Presiding Bishop & Chief Apostle over New Dimension Covenant Fellowship International.

​

Bishop Hinton would serve RCCFI for 10 years as the First Assisting Presiding Bishop until July of 2020 when God released him to re-organize NDCFI.

​

In October of 2020 Apostle Hinton re-established The New Dimension Covenant Fellowship International and consecrated the first Bishops of the re-established reformation in Kansas City, Missouri they were his wife Dr. Iris J. Hinton of Frisco, Texas, Overseer Kendon K. Gibson of Chester, Pennsylvania and Pastor Samuel L. Whitener of Fort Worth, Texas.

​

Bishop Eric D. Morrison and Bishop Bruce E. Walker both of Kansas City, Missouri served as Co-Consecrators.

​

Apostle Hinton was Affirmed as the Chief Apostle of NDCFI in July of 2021 at the Holy Convocation in Frisco, Texas. He would serve as the International Presiding & Chief Apostle until the NDCFI Holy Convocation in August of 2022 when he passed the torch to Bishop Kendon K. Gibson to be the Presiding Bishop of NDCFI. He was Consecrated as the Apostolic Father of NDCFI at the same Holy Convocation in Chester, Pennsylvania.

In December of 2013 hearing the voice of God, Bishop Hinton moved his family and ministry to the Dallas, Texas area. He would plant Vision of Emmanuel International Ministries where he serves as the Overseer.

​​

Apostle Hinton is a lifelong student, forever learning, an avid reader, a man of great wisdom and knowledge. Education has always been important to him, having graduated from Paseo High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He obtained secondary education at Calvary Baptist Seminary where he achieved a bachelor’s in psychology, Carver Seminary, and Faith Bible College where he obtained a double Doctorate and worked as a professor for many years. He has worked for the State of Missouri as a Clinical Psychologist counseling state kids.

​

He served as the Chaplain of the Raytown, Missouri Police department for 10 years. He has been heavily involved in prison ministry and feeding the homeless.

​​

Apostle Hinton’s strengths are his knowledge of deliverance and demonology, eschatology, five-fold ministry, and church planting.

​​

His hobbies are hunting and fishing, riding Harley motorcycles, barbequing, and he is an avid dog lover.

​​

Apostle Hinton has been in Ministry for 60 years, Church Leadership for 48 years and Pastoral Ministry for 36 years.

​

He is married to the beautiful and amazing Bishop Iris J. Hinton for over 30 years. They are the parents of many biological and spiritual children.
