The Presiding Bishop’s Cabinet or “Executive Board” is a select group of leaders that shoulder the responsibility of assisting the International Presiding Bishop as he makes decisions regarding the Fellowship. The Presiding Bishop’s Cabinet is the Highest Governing Board in the New Dimension Covenant Fellowship International.  It is the International Presiding Bishop’s most inner and intimate circle.

 

These leaders are instrumental in helping the International Presiding Bishop with strategic initiatives for the reformation. These initiatives are the foundational tenets of the vision of the International Presiding Bishop and are vital to the success of the New Dimension Covenant Fellowship International.

 

The members of the Presiding Bishop’s Cabinet serve in various capacities within the Fellowship. Collectively, the team of leaders on his cabinet is equipped to bring insight based upon their gifting and/or experience. It is from this vantage point that suggestions and recommendations are made to assist the International Presiding Bishop in evaluating progress and adding or eliminating programs and policies for the productivity of the overall Fellowship.

Members of the Presiding Bishop’s Cabinet have the dual responsibility of covering and protecting both the International Presiding Bishop as well as the vison of our international movement.

One of the primary functions of the Presiding Bishop’s Cabinet is to move the agenda and vision of the International Presiding Bishop. The method of ratifying an initiative by the International Presiding Bishop is by majority vote of the Council of Bishops. If the Council of Bishops has not ratified an initiative that is imperative to the vision of the International Presiding Bishop, the International Presiding Bishop has the option of discussing the matter with the cabinet and having the members of the cabinet that are part of the Council of Bishops to vote on it.

 

The Presiding Bishop’s Cabinet is not authorized to override a decision of the Council of Bishops; however, they serve as a think tank to assist the International Presiding Bishop in deciding whether or not to exercise his executive authority. The exercising of this executive authority is the exception and not the normal method of ratifying the International Presiding Bishop’s initiatives.

 

The positions that make up the Presiding Bishop’s Cabinet at the time of this documents include the Second Presiding Bishop, Third Presiding Bishop, Executive Secretary, Bishop of Protocol, House Prophet, and Bishop of Foreign Affairs, The Presiding Bishop may add or delete from his cabinet at any time.
