Dr. Iris J. Hinton affectionally called “ Mother” "Bishop Mother"or “ Pastor Iris”, is the Senior Pastor of the Vision of Emmanuel International Ministries located in Frisco, Texas. She accepted the call of God and has operated in ministry for over 30 years. She is the loving wife of Bishop Kenneth M. Hinton, Sr., Founder and Senior Apostle of Vision of Emmanuel International, where she works diligently in the service of the Lord with him.

Bishop Mother Hinton’s passion for ministry is to teach women how to be “Sarah’s Daughters”: Submissive, Virtuous and Secure in God. Dr. Hinton is known for leading by example, while teaching women to assert authority when necessary and she empowers them to lead by grace, understanding authority and submitting to authority.

Bishop Mother believes the Lord is pushing the full manifestation of the “Five Fold Ministry”, which will develop the saints and bring them to spiritual maturity as they come forth to fo the work of the ministry.

 

She stands in the gap and and the leadership of Daughters of the King Women’s Ministry and Women of Purpose 91 Prayer Ministry petitioning God on the behalf of men and women around the country, so they can reach their purpose Him.

Bishop Mother served as the Western District-Missouri President of the Daughter’s of Promise Women’s Ministry under General Overseer Debra Morton and Presiding Bishop Founder Bishop Paul S. Morton of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International for 5 years leading God’s Ladies.

 

Bishop Mother is the Founder and Leader of the Matters of the Heart International Conference, with the mission of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, reuniting saints to God and preaching the Gospel to sinners accepting Jesus Christ who gave himself for us ALL. “What Greater Love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” It’s a Matter of the Heart!

Pastor Iris attained a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling and a Doctorate of Pastoral Theology from Faith Bible College of Independence, Missouri. These Degrees helped equip her for ministry in counseling the saints of God and helping them work through troubled marriages.

​

She was ordained as Senior Pastor in 2004 (New Beginnings International House of Worship- Kansas City, Missouri) and ordained to the Office of Apostle with the Right Connection Covenant Fellowship International of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 15, 2011 in Kansas City, Missouri.

In October of 2020 Dr. Hinton was Consecrated to the Sacred Office of Bishop in the Lord's Church by her husband Apostle Kenneth M. Hinton, Sr. She Serves as the Bishop of Women for the New Dimension Covenant Fellowship International. She is also a member of the NDCFI Cabinet of Bishop's.

Bishop Mother Hinton takes the greatest pride in these: her personal relationship with Jesus Christ; her role as a wife to Bishop Kenneth Hinton; and being a mother to her two daughters- Kiearra and KaMesha. Dr Hinton has three grandchildren Amiya, J.J. and Jaxon. She also has many Spiritual Sons, Daughters and Grandchildren all over the world. Her most prized role is being a laborer for the Kingdom of God.
